03 / OUR STORY

Rooted in Wheatley Hill.
Looking to the future.

Wheatley House has been part of the area's history for generations. Originally part of the Aged Miners Homes complex opened in 1924, it was protected for community use when local residents came together in 2011.

We honour that determination by continuing to care for this shared resource and keeping it relevant to local life today.

04 / A PLACE FOR EVERYONE

Community means making room for one another.

We want Wheatley House to be a place where residents feel welcome and respected, whatever their age, background or circumstances. Shared activities create opportunities for friendship, belonging and connection across generations.

Whether you're attending your first activity, bringing a friend or representing a local group, we're glad you've found us.
